A more detailed update

Well.
We have finally moved into the new apartment. Pretty nifty if you ask me. Apart from feeling very ill for the last few days, things are going insanely well. A little too well if you ask me. *insert shifty eye here* Ok. I'm actually not all that suspicious. Not to say that our life in Victoria sucked (because it didn't) but we both had out fair share of troubles in the past year. Some together, and some apart, so it shouldn't come as a total surprise that God has kinda given us a pretty decent time in Vancouver thus far. (I know, it's only been a week. But what can you do!?!)

Ok. Here's the poop

The place
Is awesome. When we first showed up, it was small. We were really worried about cramming all our Stuff into this place. But as the boxes got unpacked, we started to realize that this might work. As of today we are down to One box I believe - outside of the ones that are going into storage once that room is available to us - so that's pretty good. We finally put up all our paintings (Courtesy of Megan and Sarah Pee) and all our picture frames and stuff. I do believe they add a lot to the place. So that's good. Shawna claims that my cooking has drastically improved in the new (Half) Kitchen surroundings, so I guess that's a good thing. As I type this, I am sitting on the balcony (yay) looking out at the water and really feeling like we are happy with the place we chose. So Score one for the good guys (Us.)

The life
So far life has been pretty relaxed. I mean, it's been mostly, unpacking settling in, buying furniture, moving things, exploring the neighborhood, et all. As of yet, I am unemployed but I have many applications and resumes floating around out there. One of which is for a (misnamed) job as a Children's Pastor. Really, it's just someone to run the Kids Ministry. In short its a little bit of what I did at the PLace Kidz. So, all you Christian types (you know who you are) you can pray that I get that job. That would be ideal. Of course what is ideal for me is usually what is the least ideal for God. Maybe it will further his kingdom to have me pumping gas, or checking groceries... I don't see how, but what do I know, right!

Shawna, on the other hand, has good news. She has been offered a (tentative) position with the Vancouver Canucks on their in-house editing team. This is a hgue opportunity for her - since she would love to make a career in the sports industry. She has cautioned me that it is tentative, and later on in the week more details should be known. Until then. Think happy thoughts people.

Random Things
Thoroughly upset with Shaw. They were supposed to come set-up services today, I have been here all day. They never showed up. Then told us it was our fault because we didn't pick up the buzzer. So we have to wait ANOTHER week (they made us wait a week once already) Well, I was here all day. They lie. Anyway, they said they would call us back, they never did. So, off to Telus we go. turns out, at the same price, we can get the NHL Network and a bunch of cool stuff on TV with them. So. We go with them. We end up waiting either way, but I think this is the smarter road to take.

Other than that, things are just fine and dandy. You guys should come visit. Seriously. Come visit!

Much love to ya'll!

Pictures are on their way, I promise!

I hope you get that job, bro. Sounds like you would be very well suited for it.
